Last nights "Rubulad" Party in BedStuy, Brooklyn was banging... That is until the Fire Marshals had ruined it with their "codes" and "laws"..
Multiple levels of fabulous people, human sized birdcages, rooftop with Panoramic views, Caves for crawling in made from Whipped Cream looking paper-mache, loft beds, snuggling bungalos, multiple bars, dessert stations & amazing bands and trippy performance art in every room. I LOVED IT! It was so much fun! I had a blast hanging out with so many friends, new and old. The Party continued on at Union Pool then to my apt for an all night dancefest. We watched thee sun rise from my backyard, then called it a night. If you have never to been to Rubulad, but like awesome parties, It's a must to check this place out.
"It's sort of hard to say what makes the parties so good. At first you think it's the space, wonderful and baroque. Then you think it's the people, who dress up, follow the themes, and wear costumes. At one point you start to be impressed by the performers: the DJs, a puppeteer, some guy showing old films, a groovy band that gets everyone dancing.
